Well hells bells. I waited all week for that? I watched the whole VMA’s and assuming Brit’s 3 dressing rooms and 10 wardrobe changes I thought I was in for a surprise but alas…. No. She opened for 4 seconds then accepted her moon man for best video and that was it. I didn’t get to see her do anything else. Zip, nada, zero.
At first I was okay with that but after watching PINK perform and multiple other singers, I started thinking, why cant she perform. We’re not asking for a 2 hour show or a tour. We’re talking a 3 minute performance. Wah! She’s 26 years old, cant she pull off a 3 minute dance routine while lip syncing? I’m let down.
At least I got to see my fav. SLIPKNOT!!!!!
God, Ashley Simpson looked huge and Pete Wentz looked like a midget.
OH WELL THERE’S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR. I thought the whole VMA stunk. At least last year, Brit performed and there were good bands. This was a lot of nothing. Small venue, small talent except for Xtina! She was great.

And online already, she’s getting hammered. Reuters says she failed to impress and merely uttered four words before Rhianna took over and that it was anti-climatic and that she left the singing to others. Many websites are saying they expected to at least see some type of performance after all the hype but were left with nothing memorable.
I’m so confused. I’m near Los Angles and the awards, I thought were live so why does x17 already know everything that’s happened? I thought they were in L.A too. I guess it’s not live. It’s recorded live.

Britney Spears has requested three dressing rooms for her highly-anticipated comeback appearance at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards tomorrow night.
According to whispers from the Rumor Mill, Brit has demanded that one dressing room is equipped with a 360° mirror, another has a pilates area, while the third dressing room will be used to store her ten outfit choices.
Britney has also requested scented candles, a personal dresser, masseuse, steamed veggies, sushi, Kabbalah, and a bowl of fresh fruit. Source

And the Star is reporting that Brit and Adnan did hook up in Vegas! They claim an insider told them she just wanted to spend some time with a man she loves and that Adnan believes they are soul mates. You mean Bank account mates.
Gross. Fucking gross. If my Britters ends up with a douche paparazzi then she deserves what it brings. This better not be true.
The VMA’s are doing a whole pre-Britney show! It’s a half hour long and showing all of her prior VMA performances. Meanwhile she arrived at the show in a black limo followed by daddy. He didn’t look so happy for the big event. Papaw flipped off the paps.
The pre-VMA Britney 30 minute commercial is bound to get people’s tongues wagging about what she’ll do tonight. The only down side is that she was so involved in pre-show interviews and exposure in the last VMA shows that if she doesn’t talk or interact with people besides a few scripted lines, it could backfire. People clearly want more.
I am hoping we will see a fully engaged, fully motivated Britney Spears tonight to show the world she’s back and sound! People want to see enough to satisfy their appetites. Enough with the appetizer, we want a three course meal!

Sunday, September 7, 2008, 2:17 pm PT: Britney Spears is here! Like, on the lot and everything! She rolled up in a black limousine on the Paramount lot, decked out in a electric blue tank top [and no pants? -- ed. JK, she was very ostensibly wearing pants, rumormongers], flanked by a fleet of beefy security guards. She quickly made a bee line for a backstage dressing room, where she’ll presumably remain until showtime. (Note: beefy security team frowned on me snapping photos of Brit’s actual arrival, so all I ended up with is a photo of the door she entered and the angry security guys).
Why so many wardrobe changes if no performance? I can barely stand it. I cant wait to see what my Lil darling does tonight! X17 is reporting that Britney will change six different times during the show and that some of her wardrobes were designed by Versace.
MTV is going to pull in big ratings once again thanks to the golden child. I hope her and Xtina have a dance off. Okay I’m dreaming. The Jonas Brothers dream of meeting the chosen one. Yes, that’s right everyone including the “hot bands” right now want a piece of Britters.
Speaking of child. Brit’s kids got picked up by K-Fed yesterday after spending the night with mom and guess who stayed the night too? Shar’s kid! I wonder if Britters cornered her in the bathroom and tried to get the scoop on K-Fed and Shar’s Vegas weekend? By the look on the kids face, it coulda happened.

This shit is getting old and I am at my weaves end! Now, Perez says he talked to Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph and he said 100% she is not performing. He said her being caught on tape rehearsing was just her “dancing with friends” and she does it almost everyday now.
Larry claims she’s just rehearsing for practice sake. Maybe a tour later this year?? Who the hell knows. All this speculating is making me hungry. I’m off to STILL make my Cheeto cupcakes in honor of the Crispy Queen at least appearing on this years MTV VMA awards.
I don’t see much of a difference here. Maybe the whole reason Britney gave such a lackluster performance last year is because THE DAMN ROUTINE WAS LACKLUSTER. The girl on the left rehearsing looks about as motivated as me waiting in line to buy whiskey, yet again.
She’s (the choreographer on the left) slow moving and clumsy looking and watching the two side by side, and given Brit’s mental state at the time, I think she followed it pretty well. I think if we would have all seen this boring as choreography, no one would have really put as much emphasis on Brit as they did. I think this routine is just awful and given that, maybe it wasn’t all Brit Brit’s fault.
Yes she could have looked better, dressed better, slept the night, not partyed, but this is a boring awkward looking routine and who ever choreographed it for her should have their ass fired!
So, now its 2008 and a whole new VMA is on the horizon. By watching the leaked rehearsal tape, I do expect we will see way better of Britney this year. Last year she was partying and not sleeping and not well. This year she’s sleeping, eating right, working out and on meds so it may be very good.
I just hope the high energy is there. That seems to be the one thing she is lacking. She just doesn’t seem really excited anymore. Perhaps the medications do that to you. Kind of take the edge of your personality so you don’t have the manic high and lows. If that’s the case, there is little she can do about that but she has to really want this.
She has to want to rock our socks off and come back and shock everybody with great wardrobe, great hair, great moves and big excitement. If she does that, the sensation will begin all over again about why we loved her to begin with. Big entertainment!
I wonder if her and Xtina will do anything together or avoid each other like the plague.
Somebody get me to her dressing room before the show!! I’ll fire her ass up! Together, Brit Brit, British Britney and Poor Britney can pull off a hell of a show!
